Ayman's parents were both born in Palestine. His dad was born in 1929 and his mom was born in 1944. In addition, the nation of Palestine was replaced by the state of Israel. In 1964, his parents married in the village of Mukhmas in the Jerusalem province. By the 1960's, Ayman's parents were living in the United States.They had 7 children throughout the 60's and 70's and were living in the city of Jersey City, NJ. Ayman "the Man" was born. A few months later, the family moved to Passaic, New Jersey where Ayman grew up. He attended Thomas Jefferson School # 1 from grades K - 6. Although at times, he showed evidence of brilliance in his studies, but his main focus and interest was American sports. Take a look at Ayman's family tree video dating back to the 1700's.
Ayman and his parents moved to the Palestinian territories. There was some peace! During this time, he learned how to readArabic and began studying the Quranic scriptures. Despite major challenges with bullying, Ayman's 5 year tenure in Palestine served as the foundation for his future successes". Here is a sample of what he witnessed in Palestine.
This 14 year period reflects Ayman's return to the United States as well as his college experience. In 2007, he completed his B.A. in Communications at William Paterson University and received a teaching certificate. In 2010, he completed his Masters of Education at William Paterson University and recieved an ESL teaching certificate. In 2014, he completed the graduate program in ducational leadership at William Paterson University and received supervisor and principal certificates. Ayman has attained 5 educational certificates in New Jersey.
During these 14 years, Ayman taught English as a second language as well as US and World History in various elementary, seconday, and high schools in New Jersey. Additionally, in 2018, Ayman landed a position to teach English at the Bergen County College. It was his 1st experience teaching adults.
Ayman married Nadia Zaben. The wedding took place at the Pines Manor in Edison, New Jersey. There were an estimated 1000 guests who attended.
Ayman and Nadia's first child, a boy, Zayneddeen or Zayn was born. This took place during the Trump campaign for US presidency. Roughly 3 years later, their second child, Deema, a girl, was born.This took place during the earliest phase of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Ayman officially began his final quest for the memorization of the Holy Quran. This included started a Quran-based awareness social media page and offering lectures at mosques and schools. Learn more details about this journey on our social media outlets page.
Ayman is currently working as an administrator at the Law Offices of Maimoon N. Mustafa, his older brother. Here is a link to the of the official website of the law office.
Ayman is currently taking courses at the Harvard Extension School. His goal is to be admitted into the Digital Media Design graduate program by September of 2022. He is also working on completing a certificate in Design Learning. He currently has completed four courses in the overall program. Take a sneak peak at how he's doing in one of his current courses. Ayman continues to memorize pages, chapters, and units of the Holy Quran. Everyday, whether it be through Friday sermons, live lectures on Instagram, or in general gatherings, he continues to spread awareness of the words of Allah (swt). The chapter that he is currently memorizing/learning is #40, Ghafir or "The Forgiver". Check it out!
Mr. Mustafa is currently on a one year sabbatical from his regular job at Paterson Public Schools. In the meantime, he is busy teaching English at Bergen County College. He is also currently seeking administrative positions in school districts in the state of New Jersey. He will be returning to his teaching assignment in September of 2022.
Ayman mostly enjoys spending time with his family when he is not working. Whenever he gets a chance, he visits different mosques as well as different sports stadiums and arenas.
By 2023, Ayman hopes to offically re-launch his tutoring and learning academy, "Reach for the Stars Tutoring and Learning Academy, LLC."
By 2023, Ayman hopes to land a position as a school administrator. His goal is for this admin role to last 3 to 4 years.
By 2025, Ayman hopes to complete the Digital Media Design graduate program at the Harvard Extension School.
By 2025, Ayman hopes to have 100 students registered at Reach for The Stars Academy and have a facility that has that capacity.
By 2028, Ayman hopes to memorize the entire Holy Quran as well as build a larger following of his Quran awareness program online.
By 2026, Ayman plans to seek a political position at the city or county level. This will be followed by plans to seek a political position at the state or national level.
